NEW YORK (AP) The manager is taking a startling breather and deferring his September shows, referring to physicians' instructions.
Bruce Springsteen declared on his site Wednesday that he was delaying shows until the end of the month while he is treated for side effects of "peptic ulcer sickness."
The sickness causes ulcers in the stomach or small digestive tract that can cause acid reflux, queasiness, and stomach torment.
The delayed shows remembered booked stops for Baltimore, Philadelphia, Albany, and Syracuse in New York, Pittsburgh, Washington, and shows in Connecticut and Ohio.
"Here on E Road, we're devastated to need to defer these shows," Springsteen said in a proclamation posted on his site and web-based entertainment. "We'll have returned to get these shows, to say the very least."
Springsteen, renowned for his high-energy, three-hour shows with the E Road Band, has as of late performed three evenings of shows in his home territory of New Jersey.
